Dr. Savvas Loizos is a specialist Cardiologist, Clinical Fellow in Imaging at Barts Heart Center in London. He previously worked as a perioperative and critical care echocardiography imaging fellow at Royal Brompton Hospital and as an imaging fellow at Hammersmith Hospital, Imperial College NHS Trust in London.
He completed his PhD in imaging and vascular surgery focusing on carotid atherosclerotic disease at Imperial College of London.
He is serving as EACVI ambassador for the young community (HIT) and his main interests are echocardiography, perioperative imaging, CMR and CT.
