The Forgotten Chambers – Right Heart Echo Workshop was a highly successful course, officially endorsed by the British Society of Echocardiography (BSE). Introduction and Brief Overview

A one-day event dedicated to advancing knowledge and skills in echoing the right heart. This event is

organized by Johnson & Johnson, in collaboration with Medical Training Consultancy.

Objectives

With focus on the often-overlooked right ventricle, the workshop will address crucial considerations in

diagnosing and managing conditions such as pulmonary hypertension.

Led by renowned experts, the program offers:

• An in-depth review of the 2022 ESC/ERS Guidelines and the British Society’s recommendations

for detecting pulmonary hypertension

• Practical, hands-on simulation sessions covering basic right heart echo measurements, bubble

echo techniques, stress echocardiography, and more

• Guidance on essential calculations, standard reporting practices, and the importance of

recognizing right ventricular dysfunction
